Our future auctions will take place online which is far more convenient than attending a specific venue but all listings can receive offers pre auction.
Buyers pay a set “Buyers Fee” of 2% always on completion and through the lawyer. This is a buying agreement and does not form part of the purchase agreement which is open, transparent and tax efficient for you the buyer.
Buying via auction online is secure and all payments are made via secure lawyer’s escrow. Auction Property Direct will not request payment direct from the buyer.
You will only buy when you are ready and not in a live frenzy atmosphere.
BUY POST AUCTION
Most properties are listed as "offer pre auction" you can once registered bid on properties at your will. Your bid will be assessed and if considered reasonable it will be presented to the property owner for consideration. You will not be required to register with the legal team until the seller is happy to transact with you. At that time and only then will you be required to provide secure details direct to the lawyer to allow the contract to be formulated.
LIVE AUCTIONS
Bidding via our online auctions is the same as bidding by phone or proxy in a traditional auction. You simply register in advance with the representative lawyers who will only take payment when your final bid is accepted. This however is for future dated and publicised auctions. At this time if a property is shown as for example "30 days left, 45 days left etc" this will normally mean that the property is due to be repossessed or removed from auction at the end of the period detailed. You can once registered bid on these units as per "offer pre auction" above. Never be frightened to bid! you cannot be tied in contractually until you sign agreement etc. However we reserve the right to remove individuals from the platform if they persist in bidding without committing to purchase when price accepted and ready to progress to viewing or contract.
Winning bidders will effectively exchange contracts immediately after winning the auction and will have 28 days to complete unless special conditions are imposed and agreed.
Buyers will always have the right to visit the properties in advance of bidding.
Buyers will always be advised in advance which territorial law appertains to the property of interest. (Local National Law will always take preference over UK law when buying overseas) We will not allow you to bid until you have accepted the terms of conditions which are in place to protect you the buyer.
